Identify Judge Misconduct Using the California Judicial Conduct Handbook: News You Can Use
CONSUMER PROTECTION NEWS YOU CAN USE: When the California Commission on Judicial Performance (CJP) investigates a judge accused of misconduct, this is one of the resources they use.
If you believe you are a victim of judge misconduct, before you make a complaint to the CJP use the California Judicial Conduct Handbook to identify what the misconduct is called and the terminology used to describe it. This will significantly increase the odds that your CJP complaint will succeed.

Sacramento Superior Court Corruption Victims Take Advocacy to State Level at Commission on Judicial Performance
Sacramento County Superior Court whistleblowers this year have expanded their ranks, joined forces with similar groups in other counties, and taken their court reform campaign to the state level, according to Fatima Katumbusi, a group spokesperson.
"Our local watchdogs have teamed up with the Center for Judicial Excellence, Court Reform LLC, the Commission on Judicial Performance Reform Project and other groups," Katumbusi explained. "We have testified at the State Assembly, raised awareness about court corruption at the Super Bowl, and engaged on social media. Mainstream media, including the Sacramento Bee, Daily Journal and San Francisco Chronicle have reported on several of our issues, and published opinion columns by people in our group," she added.Yesterday, the San Francisco Chronicle published an op-ed criticizing secrecy at the state Commission on Judicial Performance, the government agency responsible for oversight and accountability of judges. The piece was authored by two court reform advocates, one of whom is a victim of alleged corruption in the family law division of Sacramento Superior Court.

“They don’t send the lawyers to jail because we run the country. We’re members of a privileged class in this country. We make the laws and when we do so we make them in a way that is advantageous to the lawyers,” attorney Marc Koplik explains on hidden video in this 60 Minutes broadcast clip.Sacramento Superior Court reform advocates allege that a group of local divorce lawyers who also work as part-time judges have made similar claims. Whistleblowers assert that many Sacramento County judges abdicate their responsibility to enforce attorney misconduct laws, and therefore share blame for the problem.

A Facebook group that catalogs examples of Sacramento Family Court problems and scandals, and acts as a de facto support group for unrepresented, pro per family court victims of the alleged racketeering organization operating in the court has just reached a Facebook milestone of 500 "Likes." The achievement was announced by group facilitator and veteran court watchdog Ulf Carlsson.
"Our outreach to family court victims continues to deliver results," Carlsson said."The egregious corruption in this court continues because the responsible parties assume that the victims will never come together and exchange information. This Facebook group enables victims to connect, share experiences and be able to show oversight authorities and law enforcement that the problems are systemic, and not one-off, isolated events," Carlsson explained.To visit the Sacramento Family Court Corruption Facebook page, click here. Case Fixing Scandal, Racketeering Scheme, Whistleblower Retaliation Attributed to Leadership of Judicial Council Chair Tani Cantil-Sakauye
Sacramento Family Court News has published an exhaustive, investigative report alleging that a criminal organization involving judges and local attorneys operates within the Sacramento County family law court system. The report is the latest allegation that corruption has reached epidemic levels in California courts.
Court whistleblowers and watchdogs charge that California Judicial Council Chair Tani Cantil-Sakauye has used her position to quash investigations into the alleged criminal conduct of her former coworkers in Sacramento Superior Court, and the adjacent, and troubled 3rd District Court of Appeal.
